  • Never swim alone.
     

  • Never leave children unattended near the water.
     

  • Always swim within your ability.
     

  • Do not engage in breath-holding contests.
     

  • Do not swim under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
     

  • Swim only in areas designated for swimming and with adult supervision.
     

  • Be vigilant. Safe swimming is everyone’s responsibility.
     

  • Take swimming lessons when offered.
     

  • Learn CPR.
     

  • ALWAYS wear your iSwimband.
